About The Masons
Who Are the Masons?
There truly are no words to describe the depth and beauty of the fraternity. Only a modest attempt can be made to describe those whom participate in the ritual of this profound tradition. Individually, Masons represent themselves in their communities as craftsmen, tradesmen, medical and legal professionals, politicians and just about every other occupation imaginable. Collectively, Masons represent unity, brotherhood and a means for an individual to experience a sense of community as never before experienced.
What do Masons do?
Notwithstanding the millions of dollars that Mason contribute daily to charitable and scholarly pursuits, a masons primary objective is self improvement. To a mason there is not a more laudable goal. Masonic edict and education offer a segue to this improvement.
As a Mason and a member of Lupton Lodge #119, you will have access to over five thousand six hundred years of collective life experience. Imagine the possibilities!
Masons also believe in having fun. Most masons are involved in recreational clubs or have a varying degree of interests such as scuba diving, ham radio operations, woodworking, skiing, mountain biking and weekend motorcycle rallies. If you can dream of it, a mason has probably done it or is doing it!
